This generation HRV has been out from 2012 model year and we should expect a full redesign in 2017. In 2015 in received a refresh which included new headlights and taillights and few safety features. On the top of the line Touring trim you get a projector beam headlights and LED daytime running lights you can get on EX trim and above. The styling of the 2018 Honda HRV is contemporary and very good looking. The taillights are reminding on Volvo also it have rear reflectors.

HRV Interior

Build materials and build quality inside of the Honda HRV are pretty average for the class. Overall interior is pretty well constructed but there are some interior pieces that feel kinda cheap. The interior is a combination of hard plastic, leather and softer grained plastic and the leather parts have nice molded stitching. The steering wheel is a little dated but overall leather coated and soft with good grip. Center dash is pretty clean and simple. The HRV uses a seven-inch touch-screen display and the system is easy to use and it is responsive too.

2018 Honda HRV Engine

The very familiar engine that powers the 2018 Honda HRV is a 2.4-Liter inline 4-cylinder that is capable of producing 185 horsepower at 6.400 rpm and 181 pound feet of torque at 3.900. EPA fuel consumption is really exceptional 27 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. There is no other option available a 2.4-Liter uses the CVT automatic transmission and a choice of FWD (standard) and AWD (optional). This Honda HRV accelerate from 0 to 60 in 7.5 seconds and the top speed is 117 miles per hour.
