Mazda gladly introduced the Mazda3 in 2015 as the flagship model in its new generation product lineup. Interior and Exterior
On the outside, the Mazda 3 boasts fins on the horizontal grille for stronger horizontal flow. This is polished with the dynamic shape of the signature wing to create a bold front look. The LED lighting signature in the rear combination lamb gives the rear a sharp appearance. The Mazda3 is adorned with new compact shark fin antenna to give it an elegant look. Furthermore this model has dark colored 19-inch aluminum wheels with high-gloss paint to contrast the brilliant appearance of its metallic body. In this model, Mazda has worked assiduously to refresh the interior look. The shape of the instrument panel and the floor console has been changed and the leather interior comes in new color coordination. Because the gaps between the parts have been minimized, the interior has a more unified appearance. Moreover, for the very first time, Mazda has implemented the Electrical Parking Brake (EPB) in this model. And, the low dashboard beautified with a freestanding seven-inch center display on the top and the driving display shows all its information in real time. Mazda techs also added some extra sound insulation, tuned the chassis for a little more comfort, installed the Mazda Connect infotainment system.
Engine and Performance
The Mazda 3 boasts a modern 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is well developed and that has a direct injection feature, a variable valve control and a 13:1 compression ratio. It goes up to 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. When a regenerative system called the ieLoop is attached on the drive train, its fuel economy can be up to 40 mpg. Like all the other versions of this model, it has a front-wheel drive. Its engine is also fitted to either a six-speed manual gear or a six-speed automatic. The only difference is that the 2018 model has driver selectable drive modes. In this model Mazda has reduced the weight to a light 3200 pounds. In automatic mode, the gear shifts are quick and crisp, and in the manual mode you get clean precise action. The steering is swift and well-weighted and the car, being eager to change direction, gives you the nimble feel of a car much smaller.
