There are no changes in store for the car’s SkyActive-Drive 2.0-liter or the 6-speed manual transmission or the 2.5-liter engines. However, drivers should expect an upgrade to 2018 Mazda CX-5’s 6-speed automatic Sport, Touring or Grand iterations. This is replaced with the new Drive Selection function that will add responsiveness and is expected to bump the car’s EPA numbers. For this kind of car, the gas mileage is just outstanding. According to the manufacturer, 2018 Mazda CX-5 will be released in spring 2018. It made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2014. Even though the official price for 2018 Mazda CX-5 has not yet been revealed, it is expected that it will retail at around the same price as the outgoing model, which is somewhere around the $22,500 mark.
