2019 Ford F-150 Review

We are expecting the comeback of 2019 Ford F-150 and rumor has it that it is returning fully restored. Even though the F-150 has quite a reputation already, the Ford is constantly improving its models and this new generation should be astonishing.

The major change on the exterior of the 2019 Ford F-150 is that it is going to have aluminum body panels, which automatically means that it will have more lightweight body, to be precise, 700 pound lighter. This will also affect the fuel efficiency, so it will be more eco-friendly than the previous models. Another thing that is new is the high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights. This innovation will offer a much better visibility and will be available as an option.

Since the 2019 Ford F-150 model is more wide that the previous one and have slimmer doors, we got 2 inches extra in the cabin. You can feel this difference the most between the driver and the passenger seats, where this additional space created more comfortable and luxurious ride. Interacting with the vehicle is brought up to another level , as the MyFord Touch system has been updated to improve handling and you can interact with the vehicle using touch sensitive controls and voice commands. Basic safety features are provided and they include antilock brakes, an electronic stability system with Roll stability and Trailer Sway Control, and front, front side-impact, and side curtain airbags, however you can always add some more features if you don’t feel safe enough.

2019 Ford F-150 Engine

As we are used to be the case with new generation of the Ford models, the choice of few engines will be provided. The entry-level 3.5-liter V6 has been downsized from 3.7l which is used by the current model. The turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 is all new and should be the greenest choice. Another option will be a 5.0-liter V8, likely with the output of 360 hp and 380 pound-feet of torque, which probably will be more affordable option, but will be the least efficient when it comes to the fuel. The twin-turbo, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 brings 365-hp and 420 pounds-feet of torque and it is also very efficient and powerful.
