The Honda CR-V was introduced to the market several years ago and has since made impressive sales. In fact, this family of cars is one of the most dependable in the compact crossover models globally. 2019 Honda CR-V Diesel Engine and Performance
Interestingly, only one engine option will be offered for the 2019 Honda CR-V Diesel. It will be a 2.4 liter diesel engine that will have the capacity to generate 185 horsepower and to tolerate 181 pound feet of torque. The powertrain will be mated to a CVT gear box and the driver will choose between the front wheel and all wheel driving options. The speed of the car will be pretty impressive for a compact crossover automobile. On the front wheel driving mode, the mileage figures for the model will scale at 27 and 34 miles per gallon on city and highway conditions respectively. On the all wheel drive, the figures will be 26 and 33 miles per gallon on city and highway terrains.
2019 Honda CR-V Diesel Release Date and Price
The date of release for this car is yet to be made public. It is, nonetheless, expected to be availed for retail in early 2019. The base model will retail at an approximated cost of $23,500. The top range version will retail at a slightly higher cost. The expectation is that the higher trim levels will retail at about $31,500. These prices will be very close to those of the 2018 models.
