2020 Ford Everest

2020 Ford Everest

2020 Ford Everest is the same model only slightly redesigned from the last version, and all improvements are only to follow new trends. However, more interesting about this vehicle is that it will be offered for Australian market only, at least under this name, while other markets, including the US, get a vehicle that is called differently and has similar features. There is a rumor that this version will be used for new Bronco, too, but we are not sure in that for now.

Exterior

2020 Ford Everest review

As we said, there is no much change in the design of 2020 Ford Everest from the last model, so the look of the car is only slightly changed. There are visible changes in the rhomboidal gridded grille with large HID headlights and few details on the bottom of the front bumper. The rear end, on the other hand, has a simple truck door with few curved lines and spoiler on the top of the rear window. Higher trims will also get large 20-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

Not only that interior in 2020 Ford Everest gets new ebony scheme and possible new design, but design and shape of the cabin remain the same as before. In terms of technology come Sync 3 with Apple Car Play and Android App, and satellite navigation. Higher trims get more than that, like driver assistance systems, such as autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection (standard on Trend and Titanium grades), a hands-free tailgate (Trend/Titanium), and an available semi-autonomous park assist system.

Engine

The engine in 2020 Ford Everest is the same as is used on current Ranger Raptor, a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged four-in-line diesel model with 210 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. However, this is not a standard model, since it is a 3.2-liter five-inline turbocharged diesel with 197 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. While the first and stronger engine is paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission, for better performances and handling in higher speeds, the base model gets the six-speed automatic transmission. Front and all-wheel driving systems are offered for both versions, though.

2020 Ford Everest Release Date and Price

2020 Ford Everest will be offered to the other markets under another name, Endeavour, while this name is applied only for the Australian market, where it should be in saloons in September next year. That is not only news about this vehicle. Some rumors say that new Bronco will be only revamped Everest, with slightly changed exterior design and possibly another one engine option. Price and other information are still not known. Competitors: Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Land Rover Discovery.
