Ever since it has been revealed at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, the new Nautilus has been keenly anticipated among the fans of the luxurious Lincoln brand. Apparently, Lincoln is going to replace the outgoing MKX model with this next-generation luxurious crossover that has already been on its way to hit the showrooms as a 2019 model.
When we say Lincoln, we bet that most of our readers already have a certain image in their minds and know what to expect. Lincoln is a prestigious brand that has a long history in the market of luxurious SUVs. The fans are already familiar with its attractive models and especially the outgoing MKX that is about to be replaced. So, you will notice that the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus will keep most of the features that we have already seen on the MKX model. These will, of course, undergo some modern refreshments and updates and the entire vehicle will appear even more classy and elegant. The enhancements mostly happened in the front fascia. The 2019 Nautilus will proudly wear its brand-new mesh grille that has definitely become a recognizable symbol of Lincoln by now. In fact, the new nose of the Nautilus has already been largely compared to the one found on the latest Continental. Speaking of the front fascia, the headlights and the bumper will probably undergo some minor refreshments, too, as well as the taillights in the rear part of the vehicle.
Inside the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, you can hope for a modern, luxurious and spacious cabin that will also be quieter due to acoustic glass that Lincoln will use. That way, the outside noise and vibrations will be reduced so you will be able to enjoy your ride even more. The seats and the rest of the interior will be covered in leather and other high-quality materials. The front seats will be 22-ways adjustable and offer options such as heating, ventilating and massage. Lincoln will also seriously update its technology so the driver will get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the latest infotainment system. Blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and active park assist are just some of the safety systems that will be included inside the latest Nautilus.
When it comes to engine of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, two turbo options have been mostly considered. The first of them, which could be found in a base model, comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 245 horsepower. The other one uses a 2.7-liter V6, expected to hit 355 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Either of them should be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
2019 Lincoln Nautilus Release Date and Price
The release date of the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus has not been announced yet, but it should probably happen in summer, 2018. The price of the outgoing MKX starts around $40,000, but the price details about the new Nautilus have still been a mystery.
