2019 Volkswagen Amarok comes as slightly redesigned model and surely one of the great surprises of the season. Made in 2010 and is popular since then, Amarok firstly is made to attract attention and then for heavy load and rough terrain. That is our conclusion after the first glance at this car. However, besides this great design, it offers many interesting features in term of the speed and strength and attractive but simple cabin.
As we said, 2019 Volkswagen Amarok has surely one of the most attractive designs on the market nowadays. The front end has rounded and simple chromatic grille with metallic sides and rhomboidal small lights. Below them is wide air intake and modernly designed fog lights. The rear end is also simple and flat, with a chromatic wide line on the bottom and vertical rear lights. Looking from the sides Amarok has flat roof and doors with chromatic side plates and only a few details made in chrome on the doors.
Inside of 2019 Volkswagen Amarok things are much more interesting and attractive than we used to in heavy load trucks. It provides simplicity in combination with strong straight lines and sharp edges. The manufacturer decided to put small simple and traditional air-vents and small infotainment screen in the middle of the dashboard, with very few buttons below it and all framed with chrome. The seats are made of quality materials and provide comfort and enjoyment.
Instead of the current 2.0-liter petrol unit, the manufacturer offered two versions of much stronger 3.5-liter V6 in new Volkswagen Amarok. The base model will produce 138 horsepower of strength and the speed of 60 mph reaches for 13.5 seconds, but there will be another, the stronger version with 178 horsepower that could increase the speed of 60 mph for amazingly 11 seconds. Both come matched with the eight-speed automatic transmission. It will obviously be offered front and all-wheel driving systems and a top speed of this engine should be around 120 mph.
2019 Volkswagen Amarok Release Date and Price
We easily can say that 2019 Volkswagen Amarok compete with models like Dodge Dakota or 2019 Toyota Tundra Diesel and 2020 Toyota Tacoma, but that will not be the holly true. Amarok has a much different design, soft edges and slightly smaller size, and surely better fit for city driving than for rough terrain and heavy load. However, the price of $28,000 for the base model is more than competitive and promises great selling season. The truck should be on the market in September.
