The famous Italian sports carmaker is preparing a new version of Aventador and along with it, we should see 2020 Lamborghini Veneno. If this name sounds familiar to you, it’s because Italian carmaker already used it a few years ago. More precisely, this model was in production in 2013 and 2014 and there are only 5 units made. This version came in order to celebrate company’s 50th anniversary, so it’s no wonder that the price of the new model was around 4.5 million dollars, which made this sports car one of the most expensive models in history. Five years later, we are hearing stories about the new version.
It’s no secret that the Italian carmaker is testing a few new models on track. One of them should be a new version of Aventador. Along with it, many expect to see this special version as well. Though it’s very hard to say something more precise about this model at the moment, we can expect any less spectacular styling compared to the one we saw in the previous model. This would probably mean an ultra-futuristic approach, which will involve a lot of hi-tech materials characterized by extremely lightweight, in order to provide as great as possible performances. Expect to see various new design solutions that will later serve as a basis for other future models of the brand.
At the moment, we can’t say many details about the 2020 Lamborghini Veneno’s cockpit. We can expect to see those things that are usual for Lambo’s models. That would mean a pretty tight, driver-oriented cabin, plenty of advanced technologies, top-quality materials and much more.
The previous version featured a familiar 6.5-liter V12 engine, which was tuned to 750 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Such a monstrous amount of power is enough to provide 0-60 time in around 2.8 seconds. On the other side, a top speed easily goes over 220 miles per hour. The new 2020 Lamborghini Veneno should come with the same engine, but with the further power increase. Exact numbers are still a mystery. However, we have no doubt that the new model will be among the fastest sports cars in the world. At the moment, some of the fastest production cars in the world are models like Porsche 918 Spider, 2020 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, LaFerrari, Lamborghini Huracan Performante etc.
