2021 Cadillac Escalade

2021 Cadillac Escalade

We have seen 2021 Cadillac Escalade as a prototype covered with dark and thick camouflage couple of times before. Every time we saw it, there were fully protected front end and grille, so it was hard to predict how that part of the car should look like.

Let us be honest; it is the most attractive part of the car, so every manufacturer invests a lot of time and money in redesigning it. However, the last photo we saw has shown something amazing. The front grille should be impressively wider than before.

Pros

  • The model has upgraded and impressive design.
  • There are two new engines under the hood.

Cons

  • The price is very high even for this size of the car.
  • There are no changes in the design of the cabin worth mentioning.

Exterior

Maybe the design of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade reminds on Cadillac XT5 and CT5, at least in the shape of the grille. When it comes to the size of it, though, the new buyers will be more than impressed this time.

Since the original photos have shown amazingly large grille that protrudes for a few inches on the front of the headlights, it will be even more attractive and massive. Other parts and details have not been visible on spy photos for now.

Interior

Although the manufacturer has not pleased us with the photos of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade’s cabin, we expect at least the same level of the luxury, if not more. The model has excellent, large seats, broad dashboard, and great controls and buttons that should operate upgraded technology.

Among the most exciting things are Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free cruise system and partially self-driving system controls. It means that you will be able to control and drive all the time watching on the road. The manufacturer has also upgraded an extensive infotainment system. You could see it on GMC Yukon before.

Engine

In terms of the powertrain, 2021 Cadillac Escalade brings two completely new models. The first one, at the same time an entry-level engine, should be a 6.2-liter V8 model. According to rumors, this model could come along with a hybrid part in the future.

The other one is classic Cadillac’s twin-turbocharged 4.2-liter Blackwing V8, which is smaller but stronger, so the manufacturer has prepared it for higher trims. Thanks to technology, both engines could become highly unusual for future buyers.

2021 Cadillac Escalade Release Date and Price

It is hard to predict precisely when next year’s new 2021 Cadillac Escalade should be on the market. It is for sure that they will show something before the middle of the year, but the final date is still a secret.

The price of last year’s model was $75,000, so the new model could retain the same amount in years to come. With great novelties, impressive grille, and upgraded engines, it surely deserves our attention.
