Exterior

2021 Dodge Charger review

There should be changes in the design of the 2021 Dodge Charger, but the most attractive is a change in the size. The model should be lighter, thanks to the new platform, borrowed from the Alfa Romeo Giulia. It should be for 200 pounds lighter than before, which promises higher speed.

The design recalls old days in the sporty car class, with the old fashioned front end and thin and unique rear lights on the trunk door. Those details are visible on Dodge Challenger, too. Old buyers will also recognize similarities with the other muscle sporty cars, like the Ford Mustang.

Interior

There are impressive changes in the cabin of 2021 Dodge Charger. Most of them are in term of technology that we are not used to seeing in this model so far. Along with driving assistant versions, there are numerous of speed controls and lane departure warning.

Engine

The engine in 2021 Dodge Charger will be the same as before, but with interesting changes. Although the last year model had impressive 5.7-liter HEMI it obviously has not attracted the buyers so the manufacturer will not offer this time.

There should be 7.0-liter HEMI V8 engine along with the 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 with new performances and technology. This could be the major surprise and replacement for the old petrol engine, although the manufacturer has not officially announced it. There is also an expectation that we could have a 3.0-liter petrol engine, too. All engines come along with eight-speed automatic transmission.
