2021 Ford Everest is actually a version of the Kuga, with redesigned details and obviously changed details in the cabin. However, the manufacturer has not changed it a lot from the last version, so, even though they have covered it with camouflage on test driving, we were able to see that it is almost the same as before.
It has always been a mid-size SUV and the manufacturer obviously did not want to change it this time, either. There are also great novelties in the cabin, along with great engine options.
- The model is fully redesigned.
- There are new engines under the hood.
- The cabin has not been changed that much.
- The price is too high for the class.
The major change in the design of 2021 Ford Everest is visible on its front end. Although we could compare it with the Honda CR-V, there are differences in details. The front end has a wide and massive grille, above the wide bottom of the bumper. The rear end is almost flat, like on Toyota Highlander, but with soft edges and modern decoration.
The manufacturer has obviously wanted to make as sporty as comfortable SUV for whole families. It is our first impression after the test driving with the version of it. However, there are no much differences in technology that comes in 2021 Ford Everest. It should have the same safety system as before and which is Ford know too. When it comes to the size of the cabin, it should be as large as before, with the new shape of the seats.
There should be novelties in the engine that comes in new 2021 Ford Everest. The base model comes with a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine which produces 160 horsepower of strength. If this is not appealing to you, there will be a little stronger option, 3.2-liter also diesel engine with 200 horsepower of strength.
Both engines should be paired with the automatic transmissions, from the eight-speed to ten-speed ones. Although the manufacturer has not said much about the old versions of the engine, the old naturally aspirated petrol options should be offered in some version, too.
2021 Ford Everest Release Date and Price
The base model of 2021 Ford Everest should not be much more expensive than models before, so we expect that the price range could start with $55,000. Since this should be a fourth generation of the model, that came after the not that successful selling season, the manufacturer is hoping that it could change the position of the car on the market.
It will not be easy, especially after so many new models on the market, especially in this class, but new Everest promises great novelties and changes.
