Hyundai Kona 2025: Concept, Specs, and Photos. The new 2025 Hyundai Kona may appear aggressive and robust, but it is not intended to be an offroader. The Kona would likely seem boxier and more tougher for the 2025 model, but keep in mind that it’s essentially a’soft roader,’ which means it’s suited for urban jungle rather than muddy harsh offroad terrain. This new generation would be powered by a four-cylinder gas engine. A hybrid model would be produced for global markets, although it is unknown whether it would make it to the North American market. There is also the prospect of an all-electric Kona, however this has not been discussed in depth.

Performance and Powertrain

Kona would continue to offer two four-cylinder engine options, which were previously available in prior generations. The base model would be powered by a 2.0 liter unit (capable of producing 147 hp), with a four-cylinder turbocharged unit with a capacity of 1.6 liters available as an option. Hyundai has been developing a hybrid powertrain, which will undoubtedly be available in global markets. The corporation has not determined whether to offer hybrid vehicles in the American market.

Layout and design

The next Hyundai Kona 2025 will be larger than prior models. The wheelbase is 2.3 inches larger, while the overall length is 5.7 inches longer. The additional length would increase cargo capacity as well as back seat accommodation. Several photographs have surfaced showing the interior cabin with two display displays, which are expected to be available in higher trim levels.

Although the new Kona appears radically different, it will not deliver any groundbreaking power. The present model’s powertrain would be retained. There is no information on the hybrid power or whether it will be available in North America.

Price and Trim Levels

This 2025 model lineup will most likely include seven trim levels. The SE would be the entry-level trim level, with an estimated price of $24,000. The SEL, with a price tag of $26,000, comes next. Another more expensive alternative would be the Blue Hybrid ($27,000) and N Line ($29,000), followed by the SEL hybrid ($30,000). The Limited would be the next trim level, with a price of $32,000, while the Limited Hybrid would be the highest trim level, with a price of $33,000.

Keep in mind that these aren’t the official Kona trim levels and prices because Hyundai hasn’t made any formal announcements about them. We should know for certain once the material is released.

The New Kona Has Been Revised

Many people believe that the new Kona will adopt a more modern design, which will also extend to the inside cabin. On the dashboard, two touchscreen displays (perhaps each 12.3 inches in size) are expected.

The Inside Cabin

The cabin in the present Kona is quite large. Because the size is the same as a hatchback, many people are hoping that Hyundai would keep this feature. More cargo room is expected, but it will not be as large as the Chevrolet Suburban. It’s a simple and easy home design. It would have leather upholstery, a column-mounted shifter, and (opulent-looking) ambient lighting.

Because the interior will be significantly improved, better features and technologies can be expected. Aside from the dual screens that dominate the dashboard, we can also expect wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. They should be available as a normal feature, hopefully. We should know more about the 2025 Hyundai Kona before its release date, which is set for the end of 2023.
